Yesterday I was thinking about how I just feel like making jewelry with checker patterns. The checkers come from my love of ska music and have always been a go-to or even base of my artwork and designing. After going to Supernova International Ska Festival to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary I was energized and eager to embrace that I'm not alone in my love of ska and it's checker-base two-tone fashion. I felt inspired to purchase a domain that would be geared towards the music culture I love, and why not throw a blog in there. So I've purchased RudeGirl.co (the .com has someone place-holding it) and I intend to offer my checker jewelry for sale on that site, and whatever else ska-inspired creations come along. I'm Jenny and I've been a RudeGirl for over 20 years. I'm taking more time to learn about ska and going to all the shows I can stand because I regret missing so many concerts in my teens and 20's when I was told I'd grow out of punk/sk
